If you need more than a new lock, we can board doors or windows securely and if a new door is required we will measure and give you a quote on the visit. Glazing can be done next day guaranteed. All you need to do is ask and we can have you snug and secure within an hour or two, depending on the level of damage.

Being a victim of a burglary can be a traumatic experience, as well as replacing the locks we will provide a door and frame replacement, or repair service carried out by a City & Guilds qualified carpenter, whatever is necessary to properly secure your property.

Replaced broken security lock and re-alighted lock on front door

I had been waiting for over 2 hours for 2 other 24 hour local locksmiths to come out when I was shut out of my house in pouring rain and high winds. In desperation I googled again and telephoned a 3rd company who were Ideal Locks. They were at my house within 15 minutes, completed the job within 5 minutes and the man was so lovely I could have kissed him!! I would recommend this locksmith to anyone. What service!! Ideal Locks did a fantastic job fixing the lock on my external french doors. Emailed them and within a couple of hours they had arrived, also taking all precautions against Covid-19. Costs were reasonable and all explained beforehand. Took less than hour and the door is like new. Would highly recommend and will use again in the future
